Charitable Society for Social Welfare (CSSW) branch office in Al- Mukallah facilitated return campaign for IDPs in Hadramout that funded by Waslah Foundation for Development (Local NGO based in Hadramout). According to CSSW the first fleet of buses started to transport guests Hadramout (IDPs) to their homes.
The campaign was launched 19 August on Friday morning, the first fleet of 16 buses started to transport the IDPs from the city of Mukalla towards Aden, this was part of a campaign called the white roses.
The fleet includes 505 individuals of IDPs children who fled from Aden, Lahj, Shabwa, Abyan,
Dhale’e governorate to Hadramaut over the past months due to the conflict.
On Thursday 27 August, the second fleet contains of 22 buses that started to transport 663 individuals. The total number of individuals IDPs who return by this campaign is 1168
CSSW in Hadramout noted that the implementation the campaign (white roses), an embodiment of the principle of solidarity and effort in the delivery of IDPs to their homes safely, stressing that the coordination for this campaign was done with highest specifications, highlighting that health, service and media committees will accompany the IDPs until their arrival in Aden.
