Highlights
HURRICANE SYSTEM: The fifth hurricane of the Atlantic season left 12 dead and 22 people are still missing in Dominica. Total losses are expected to rise to more than US$ 370 million.
DROUGHT: In Guatemala around 500,000 people are in conditions of severe food insecurity and 1.3 million in moderate food insecurity. In Honduras, the government announced the creation of the National Front Against Drought and increased the number of affected municipalities to 170 aiming to assist 200,000 families.
MIGRATION: 1,355 Colombians have been deported or repatriated from Venezuela since the beginning of the border crises, while at least 15,174 have fled spontaneously
