Information by Governorate

Al-Jawf governorate

According to recent reports received from Seeds Association, civilians have expressed serious concern about the fighting approaching the governorate, and especially certain areas where the conflict is likely to happen such as Al-Hazem. Approximately 130 families fled to neighboring areas in Al-Khaleq because of the heavy aerial bombardment that hit their area. Due to the intensive airstrikes of the past ten days, families were forced to flee to safer areas. Many are compelled to flee a second time, after already having been displaced several months ago in schools and public areas in Al-Khaleq area and the outskirts of the city. These families have not received any assistance. There is a particular need for shelter materials. IDPs in Bart Al-Anan are impacted by the high prices of basic commodities and the lack of diesel. In addition, health centers are not operating which forced some of IDP families to move to Sana'a.

Marib governorate

According to Seeds Association, the severity of the conflict has increased in some districts, among them Harib, from where many families have fled to neighboring districts, where they are forced to live in caves. Sirwah District is witnessing a high number of displacement reaching almost more than 1300. There is a severe lack of water due to fuel shortage and continuation of the conflict. More than 200 families are living under the trees or in caves. The security situation in the governorate is fragile and complicated and local sources are expecting a further deterioration in the security situation with a high likelihood of further displacement.
