Amran
In Amran Oxfam has scaled up to provide 29,946 people in the Huth and Khamir districts with safe and clean water. Each person is receiving either 12.5 or 15 litres per day. The team is also setting up new water network or rehabilitating old ones for a more sustainable access to water. The team has also done public health promotion to complement this.
Taiz
Oxfam recently did assessments in Taiz in both the city of Taiz and in rural areas. The assessment found a need in both and will aim to respond in the coming weeks with humanitarian assistance. In the urban areas there is large sanitation needs, while in the rural areas many IDPs are living in open areas and have had little to no humanitarian assistance.
