HIGHLIGHTS
Nearly 3,000 people returning from the Dominican Republic have settled in 6 spontaneous sites in Anse-a-Pitres;
Cholera outbreak: despite the slight decrease observed in August, vigilance must be maintained, especially until the end of the hurricane season in November;
The poorest families, whose all sources of income have been affected by drought, are seeing their purchasing capacity to collapse due to the considerable increase in the prices of basic goods;
The underfunding of the Emergency Response Fund (ERRF) affects the humanitarian response in Haiti; from the 5 million requested in 2015 only 10 percent has been received
