Revision Summary:
Given the current needs and available resources, PRC, with the IFRC support, has reviewed the plan of action and prioritized certain sectors.
The Appeal budget is revised down from CHF 1,486,227 to CHF 550,477 (variance of 63 per cent).
The target number of people is reduced from 39,900 (5,700 families) to 38,570 (5,510 families).
A timeframe extension by one month to accommodate all processes related to the replenishment of nonfood items.
The package of non-food items to be replenished will now include mosquito nets, blankets, solar-powered lamps and household water filters.
Some activities have been taken out based on how the situation evolved and the resulting shift in needs (see table 2 below for further details).
Appeal history:
12 August 2015 – CHF 223,756 allocated from DREF to support 2,880 people for 4 months to meet the immediate needs of flood-affected populations through provision of emergency shelter and essential household item assistance.
27 August 2015 – Emergency Appeal of CHF 1,486,227 launched to support 39,900 people for 6 months with provision of emergency health services, food, water and sanitation services, emergency shelter and essential household assistance.
