428 refugees arrived from fYR Macedonia
There were no departures to Croatia
SOUTH
428 refugees from Syria and Iraq arrived at the Miratovac Refugee Aid Point (RAP) from fYR Macedonia.
Police, Gendarmerie, IOM, Philanthropy, REMAR, Medical Center, UNHCR, MSF, DRC, World Vision and Indigo assisted them at the RAP. UNHCR/DRC/SPDE distributed 14 boots, one jacket and 42 water bottles, while UNICEF and Philanthropy/CRS distributed other non-food items. The clinic in the RAP treated 30 refugees while the UNICEF/DRC child friendly space hosted one mother and child.
UNHCR-funded buses transported 400 refugees from Miratovac village to the Reception Centre (RC) in Presevo where they were registered. Ten Persons with Special Needs (PSNs) were prioritized.
UNHCR, SCRM, Police, Medical Centre, ADRA, Red Cross, IOM, UNICEF/DRC, Caritas, DRC, BCM/CRS and REMAR assisted refugees 24/7 at the RC. Natan, Humedica, Care international/Nexus, SOS Children, OXFAM 484, Global Medic and Indigo were present during the day. Save the Children, APC, Youth for Refugees, Atina, Border Free, Mercy Corps and MSF were active outside the RC.
UNHCR and partners distributed four UNHCR blankets, nine winter boots, one jacket and 635 water bottles. Public Doctors, MSF, Humedica and Natan treated 70 and Health Center Vranje provided reproductive health services to refugees. The UNICEF/DRC/CSW child friendly space hosted 112 children and 40 women. 606 stranded refugees remained accommodated in the Tobacco Factory dormitories, UNHCR Refugees Housing Units, in the MSF tents and the dormitory above registration hall of the RC. UNHCR continued to support authorities’ assessments of their individual needs and aspirations.
BELGRADE
UNHCR partners assisted around 200 refugees/migrants, most from Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq or Morocco. Over 30 spent the night in the city centre.
Many sought aid in food, clothes, use of internet and referrals to various services, including hospitals and registration. SCRM, UNHCR/DRC, Red Cross and Refugee Aid Miksalište assisted them. Caritas distributed food and clothes at the park near the railway. MSF offered primary health care and distributed NFIs. Asylum Info Centre remained open 24/7 and referred two unaccompanied and separated children from Afghanistan and Pakistan to the Centre for Social Work. The police filed 33 requests for asylum.
WEST
As no train arrived from Croatia to Sid, there were no departures.
At the end of reporting period, around 370 refugees were accommodated in the Sid RAP, including some denied to board trains in the previous days and some with old registration documents.
UNHCR/HCIT distributed 25 UNHCR blankets, 200 WFP HEB, 708 water bottles, 41 winter jackets, 28 boots, and 30 UNHCR bags. IDC/Sid Health Centre and WAHA treated 50 refugees.
In Adasevci RAP the situation was calm with few refugees present. Later at night all had been moved to the Sid RAP.
