330 IDPs have relocated from the UNMISS base in Tong Ping to UN House since movements began on 28 July. Approximately 55 cholera cases have been reported at both sites, with case incidence declining at the UNMISS base in Tong Ping.
OCHA reports that approximately 12,500 people remain displaced due to the recent fighting in Juba. 11,338 people are seeking shelter at the UNMISS bases in Tong Ping and UN House and a further 1,250 IDPs are seeking shelter at the Don Bosco collective center in Gumbo.
UNMISS TONGPING
CCCM
• Camp management and UNMISS RRP are holding meetings with community leaders and other community representatives to discuss relocation. Camp management RRP and community representatives are planning a “go and see visit” to UN House.
• Communities receive regular communication about relocation and registration. To support these efforts, camp management and protection partners are planning focus group discussions with communities to address community concerns around relocation and provide information about the revised relocation strategy, including absorption capacity at UN House.
• The number of people registered for relocation on Tuesday is 53.
WASH
• IOM delivered 282,000 liters of safe drinking water at a rate of 16.7L per person per day.
• Three water points and 42 taps are installed and functional, with one tap for every 98 people.
• 82 latrines are functional, with 50 person per 1 latrine. 14 hand washing facilities are installed and functional, UNICEF is maintaining latrines through backfilling.
• 20 bathing facilities are now functional, with one bathing shelter for every 207 people.
• 3,364 jerry cans were cleaned at the water points as part of the ongoing jerry can cleaning campaign, spraying is ongoing at the Western gate and at all stagnant water points.
• 4,480 people were provided with hygiene promotion messages through 93 health education sessions held at schools and public places including markets and 602 household visits.
• Garbage collection at the site is ongoing.
• IOM WASH and Shelter teams continue to address on-site flooding using trash pumps to remove water from the site.
Shelter
• 39 shelters have been constructed at the site, with total capacity to house 1,800 individuals.
• IOM continues to discuss shelter and site development planning with UNMISS, in order to maintain adequate living conditions in the site and address ongoing flooding and sanitation issues.
Health
• IOM temporary clinic provided an average of 100 consultations each day.
• Top morbidities were malaria and Acute Respiratory Infection and Acute Watery Diarrhea.
• One cholera case was received at the clinic. The patient received treatment at the OTP+ in Tong Ping and was later discharged.
• IOM conducted mosquito net distribution on Saturday with 660 remaining to complete the distribution
Protection
• UNHCR and camp management are building a profile of the population in order to understand the intentions of IDPs.
• 85 Persons with Specific Needs (PSNs) have been identified at the site, this will inform a targeted response by protection actors.
UNMISS UNHOUSE
CCCM
• UN House camp manager ACTED in partnership with WFP and IOM are planning to conduct a head count of IDPs in UN House.
Preparations for new arrivals• 13 temporary communal shelters with the capacity to house 780 people have been constructed with ongoing construction of temporary shelters for an additional 480 people.
• 24 latrine stances have been completed by WASH partners and the construction of 10 bathing shelters is ongoing.
Health
• A total of 64 cholera cases have bene treated at the health clinic in UN House with zero deaths, currently there are 9 admissions.
WASH
• An average of 888,000L of water delivered for IDP residents of POC1 and POC3.
• 24 water points and 655 storage containers were disinfected, 6 Free Residual Chlorine tests and 6 spraying campaigns were conducted.
• Latrine coverage POC1: 66 persons per latrine; latrine coverage POC3: 35 persons per latrine.
• Sewage and garbage collection ongoing in POCs 1 and 3.
• 6 oral rehydration point sites have been established and are functional.
• 591 households reached with hygiene promotion messages and water treatment tablets, 45 hygiene promotion sessions took place in schools and public.

• General food distribution is planned for POC 1 and POC 3 residents
