Zika virus
- Local transmission has been reported by Florida health officials in the USA and have identified an area in one neighbourhood of Miami where Zika is being spread by mosquitoes. Source: US CDC
Yellow Fever
- As of 28 July 2016, Angola has reported 3818 suspected cases of yellow fever with 369 deaths. Among those cases, 879 have been laboratory confirmed. The outbreak is receding and there have been no confirmed cases in the country during the month of July.
- Since the beginning of the outbreak, the Democratic Republic of Congo has reported (as of 27 July) a total of 2051 suspected cases including 76 confirmed cases and 95 reported deaths.
