Highlights
• According to UNHCR and OPM, an average of 1,641 South Sudanese refugee arrive daily in Uganda. • 21litres of water are available per person per day in bidibidi settlement.
• UNICEF continues to support additional health workers engaged in the response to the cholera outbreak through partners Concern Worldwide and respective District Local Government.
• Cumulatively, 17,041 children aged 6-59 months amongst the new arrivals have been screened for malnutrition since the start of the July influx.
• 13,581 and 27,734 children have been vaccinated against Polio and Measles respectively.
• 6,480 children have been provided with psycho-social support since July 1, 2016.
• 557 children aged 3-5 years have been registered by partners Plan International and Windle Trust Uganda to provide Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) services through ECD centres in Bidibidi.
