HIGHLIGHTS
The “Misr El Ataa’” committee at the Egyptian medical syndicate in Egypt has provided 1,000 food parcels to the Syrian refugees living in Egypt, through the Syria Al Ghad Relief foundation. This initiative illustrates the collaboration between the Egyptian and Syrian civil society in serving the needy.
UNHCR Alexandria in collaboration with Caritas participated in Arkan Cultural Center’s “Art without Wall” exhibition held at St. Marc Anglican Cathedral in Alexandria. Over 100 young artists exhibited their art and handicraft products, and four groups of Syrian refugees who have received micro-grants from UNHCR and Caritas showcased their products of food and handicrafts. The event was attended by foreign representations in Alexandria, together with prominent society artists and members of the center and the general public.
