Highlights
- Completeness for weekly reporting was 52% for the non-conflict affected counties and 85% for the IDP sites.
- Malaria was the commonest cause of morbidity in both non-conflict affected counties (47%) and
IDP sites (45%).
- Malaria epidemics reported in three states (Warrap, Northern Bahr el Ghazal, and Western Bahr el Ghazal states) and two IDP sites [Bentiu PoC and Malakal PoC).
- Fifteen suspect measles cases reported from Juba county (1), Lainya county (2), Kajo Keji county (1), Rubkona county (2), UN House PoC (3), and Bentiu PoC (6).
- Sixteen (16) cases of Kala-azar (12 new and 4 relapses/PKDL) including 1 deaths and 0 defaulter reported.
- The Crude mortality rate and under five mortality were below the emergency threshold for all the IDP sites that submitted mortality data in week 45 of 2015.
