Highlights
Syria: IOM reached an overall 61,101 beneficiaries in seven governorates with NFIs, providing transportation assistance to UNICEF, UNHCR, WFP and WHO, with IOM managing six convoys, including 93 trucks. From its cross border hub in Turkey, IOM provided vocational training to 52 beneficiaries.
Jordan: IOM provided awareness raising sessions on human trafficking to Syrian refugees in Za’atari and Azraq camps as part of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence Campaign, provided to 267 boys and girls from both camps.
Iraq: IOM continues to assist urban Syrian refugees and host communities with winterization support, reaching over 11,000 beneficiaries with fuel vouchers, targeting the most vulnerable 30% of the Syrian refugee population in Iraq under the Basic Needs Sector.
Turkey: IOM, together with its implementing partners, reached 28,262 beneficiaries with winterization activities and hygiene items this month. This included the distribution of E- vouchers, stoves, and coal.
Lebanon: IOM continues to provide regular health education and awareness raising activities on child nutrition, hepatitis, immunization, measles, tuberculosis, and others important public-health issues to refugees and local communities.
