Highlights
DROUGHT: United Nations and partners have appealed for US $102 million to assist people affected by the drought in Guatemala and Honduras.
ZIKA: Some 17 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean have reported cases of Zika. United States has issued a warning for pregnant women not to travel to 14 countries in the region.
FLOODS AND RAINS: The level of rivers in Paraguay are declining. Some 100,000 people were displaced by the floods. In Bolivia - more than 103,000 people are affected by multiple emergencies (mainly drought and hailstorms).
