CCCM
• While a limited number of newly displaced people arrived during the week, the UNMISS POC site remains severely overcrowded.
• Outer drainage works are almost complete, with water and waste storage to be finalized this week.
• DTM: A limited number of new IDPs arrived at the Cathedral site during the last week, with 261 IDPs leaving the site to go back to their former residence in Wau town.
S-NFI
• 15 communal shelters built, with capacity to provide shelter to around 600 people.
• NFI prepositioning at the Mobile Storage Unit inside the UNMISS base is complete.
WASH
• 17 water points with 102 taps with one tap for every 230 people.
• Daily water treatment with chlorine is ongoing.
• In Wau South, 5 boreholes were repaired and 4 sanitation and hygiene promotion campaigns were held.
HEALTH
• 724 routine vaccinations for children, 61 routine EPI for pregnant women, 68 routine EPI for non-pregnant women, 59 IPV.
• 57 mothers provided with long-lasting insecticide-treated nets.
• 4,595 reached with health promotion messages at clinics and through household visits.
• The top three morbidities across the three sites were: Malaria, Upper Respiratory Tract Infection and Acute Watery Diarrhoea.
• Psychosocial support: 19,576 individuals were reached with PSS community mobilization activities. 34 individuals were provided with grief counselling, family reunification services and referrals for health services, by PSS officers.
